Profile Information

Professional actors, double act Pat and Dave (better known as Isosceles) have a variety of characters, including Belfast Ladies and Police Ladies, performed for many years, on stage, on TV and at many corporate events. When in their ‘female guise’ they are most definitely not two men in drag, but they are very definitely two men playing at being women - which adds to the fun!

Their characters are at their best when meeting and greeting people at events, creating a great way to break the ice for the evening. They have also been known to roam tables during a posh dinner, generally being disruptive, trying to clear away food etc, commenting on how well or badly people are dressed and basically being a comic nuisance! It is all very light-hearted, nobody feels threatened but everybody talks quite happily to them and everyone smiles.

Pat and Dave’s heritage includes four years on LBCs Nightline with their own phone-in soap opera, The Wastelanders; as singer-songwriters on BBCs Start The Week and Round Midnight.  They’ve also performed at many top comedy venues and theatres over many years. TV appearances include Company (C5), Panorama (USA),  3-2-1.(ITV), Young Indiana Jones (USA), Pebble Mill (BBC), Fame Game (ITV) and Week In Week Out (RTE). They have also been producers and hosts of the Theatre Royal Stratford East’s famous Variety Nights – good enough for Dustin Hoffman to see twice! And they’ve toured the USA and Europe extensively with their comedy shows.

With no end to their humour and talents, Pat and Dave can also turn out many fine comedy songs at the drop of a hat. Dave can also do a great ‘turn’ on the piano, if required, and is happy to accompany himself or other artistes.
