Profile Information

We’re going to be bold as brass here and tell you that the London Brass Symposium is fabulous! Formed in 2000 with players from London's professional orchestras, west-end shows and other freelance professional players, the ensemble is generally made up of 16 or more orchestral brass players and percussionists. For smaller spaces and functions the musicians are equally at home performing as a quartet, quintet or 10-piece ensemble.

Guaranteed to bring a wow factor to just about any type of event, be it civic, corporate, a wedding, birthday, Christmas or graduation ceremony, they play in many styles including Baroque, classical, popular light music, jazz and contemporary.

All of the ensembles are flexible and each can be tailored to suit your needs. They have a huge repertoire that includes many pieces specially written for them and, because they also boast their own in-house arrangers, they can provide any music requested - provided it is playable on brass instruments and there is sufficient time to arrange the music!

Not only that, if your event is themed the London Brass Symposium is happy to ‘dress up’ too if required.... examples of theming have included Toy Soldiers, Striped Jacketed Jazz Band, Period Costume, Military Uniform, White Tie and Tails, White Tuxedo and Dinner Suits - the list is only as long as your imagination is broad! White tux jackets, 'glam' black or dinner suits are supplied as standard – all other outfits would need to be especially hired.

We will blow our own trumpet here and tell you the London Brass Symposium is top brass!  Let them blow you away and have a listen to some music tracks below….
