Profile Information

Reuben is a versatile soul/blues R&B lover’s rock vocalist. He is a dead ringer for Otis Redding and performs accordingly, in this seven piece band, with a style highly reminiscent of the golden age of soul - the Classic Stax Atlantic Sounds. He enjoyed commercial success with the tracks 'Hold On My Heart' and 'Game Of Love' and has appeared with greats such as Otis Grand and Steve Cropper (guitarist with the legendary Booker T & the MG’s) and is a regular at top London live music venues, including the Dover Street Wine Bar.

Reuben widened his appeal by following a parallel career in acting, landing parts in ‘Miss Marple’, ‘The Chain’, ‘Murder Once’, ‘Howard’s Way’, ‘Russ Abbot’, and a production of ‘Waiting For God’. 2001 saw Reuben unite the two sides of his career by producing a riveting and critically acclaimed portrayal of the late soul maestro, Wilson Pickett, in the finals of ITV's ‘Stars in their Eyes’.
